“SPECIAL NOTICE - With this issue we begin our Sunday Bulletin. All announcements of Meetings, Social Gatherings, Suppers, Kenos, etc, will be published in this Bulletin and only the official announcements of the Church…. will be mentioned in the Pulpit. In this manner we will have more time to preach the Word of God. It always struck us as anomalous to publish Sauer Kraut, Spaghetti or Turtle Soup from the pulpit, especially during Mass when we are fasting for Holy Communion.”
