Fully Engaged Mentor Couples 

St. Mary’s uses the program, Fully Engaged, to prepare engaged couples for the Sacrament of Marriage. Around 40 couples complete their marriage preparation at St. Mary’s each year. Fully Engaged utilizes mentor couples to work through the material of the program with these engaged couples. We are looking for married couples to join our team of trained Fully Engaged mentors!

 Requirements: We are looking for couples who have been married at least five years and are practicing Catholics. Mentor couples should be interested in facilitating important conversations between couples, promoting the use of Natural Family Planning (NFP), inviting couples to have a chaste engagement, helping couples learn more about the Catholic faith and Church teachings, and offering guidance and support as couples prepare for this life-long vocation.

Training: Each new mentor couple must complete a training led by the Diocese or the Wedding Preparation Coordinator at St. Mary's.

Time Commitment: Mentors lead 4-5 meetings with the engaged couple which are spaced out about once per month. Mentors meet with 1-2 couples per year.
